Back to Work

We’re just back from a wonderful 4th of July holiday weekend, hope yours was a good one. We went out to Fowler High School as we always do for the fireworks show. My daughter and son-in-law brought Zachary and we enjoyed a really great time. I can’t believe that such a small little town can put on such an incredible fireworks show. Of course, Zachary loved it.

This week we’ve been busy listing items from our showroom floor that have not previously been listed, so keep on the lookout as we add them daily.

Summer Reading Program

Tim is out performing library shows as part of the Summer Reading Program for the Fresno County Public Library. This is the first of 3 full weeks he’ll be performing 31 “Paws to Read” magic shows all over the county.

It's almost show time at the Gillis Branch Library.

Some of these libraries are located in small farming communities, so a real LIVE performing magician can often bring out larger crowds.

Cobra in the Basket (Remote Control)

MAK Magic has released their Cobra in a Basket, which is a phenomenal card location trick that never ceases to get HUGE reactions from audiences. And if played correctly, it can be the highlight of any show.

They ordinarily retail for $495, but you can get yours for $295 as part of an introductory special if you hurry.

The Final Card by Dave Powell

Dave Powell has put out his version of Eric Lewis’ classic card trick, The Last Card, calling his, The Final Card.

Dave’s props are always fine-looking and the trick itself is always completely implausible to laymen.

The Final Card is a pretty straightforward trick. After shuffling and selecting a card it is lost in the deck. The cards may be reshuffled if desired, after which the top sixteen cards are distributed on a four-color display stand. After a “no-force elimination. The last remaining cards are redistributed and again the elimination process is repeated until only ONE card remains.

The FINAL CARD is turned over to reveal the spectator’s chosen card.  If it appeals to you, you may want to consider getting one since he’s only producing so many during this run and it may be some time before Dave’s produces them again.

Have a great weekend my friends.

Paul
