It’s Show Time!

Well, it’s finally here. The BIG show. The 3 Amigos of Magic starring me, Paul Gross, and my two best buddies Mark Price and Tim Mannix. It’s been a longtime in coming, but I’m glad it’s here.

It's happening this weekend at the Stars Dinner Theater.

We are literally just hours away from our performance of the show at the Stars Dinner Theater in Bakersfield. Quite honestly, I am so sick of practicing that I just want to do the show. I’m nervous and excited, and not completely sure that after 30 years of not working the act, that it’ll be as good as I want it to be.

Linda and I are doing comedy, and as actor Edmund Gwenn famously said on his deathbed, “Dying is easy. Comedy is hard.” So, wish us luck.

Thanks to everyone who’ll be there in the crowd and to those of you who’ve cheered us on sending messages of support and encouragement. It means a lot to me. I’ll have a full report of the show in next week’s blog.

Happy Halloween to You and Yours

And before I forget, I want to wish everyone a very Happy Halloween!

Hope you'll be having a fun, safe and happy Halloween!

My grandson, Zachary is dressing up as Superman this year. I can’t believe how grown up he looks at 3 years of age. Here’s a picture of our local Superman.

And speaking of Halloween costumes, this dedicated customer will be masquerading as a Hocus Pocus employee. Now THAT’S a great costume!

Actually, it’s Barry Block, one of our very good customers, sporting his new Hocus Pocus t-shirt. Have you gotten yours?

Barry Block, customer extraordinaire, is going as a Hocus Pocus employee this Halloween. What a great costume!

Paul Harris Presents FAIR PLAY by Steve Haynes

We are pleased as punch to be offering Paul Harris’ newest offering, Fair Play. This ingenious new gimmick predicts location of three borrowed objects! In my humble opinion, it is quite possibly the BEST effects Paul Harris has ever produced!

Here’s the details.

Hanging from your keychain is a clear photo holder. Locked inside is a scrap of paper with a secret message. You’re spectator holds the keychain message in her hands.

You then borrow ANY business card, ANY coin and ANY dollar bill.

Be sure to have a very safe All Hallows' Eve.

Be sure to have a very safe All Hallows’ Eve.

Your Spectator FAIRLY places ANY one of the three objects in HER Pocket. It’s a completely free choice.

She then FAIRLY gives you ANY one of the other two objects to hold in YOUR hand.

She keeps the third FAIRLY CHOSEN object in her hand.

THE BUSINESS CARD, THE COIN, THE BILL. SHE DECIDES WHERE TO PUT EACH ONE.

NO Forces. Her choices are FREE. She can change her mind as many times as she wants!

The key chain prediction she’s been holding the entire time is then read: IT’S 100% ACCURATE!

(EXAMPLE)

POCKET HAS CARD
I HAVE THE COIN
YOU HAVE THE BILL

Quite possibly the best Quite possibly one of the BEST effects Paul Harris has ever produced!

And yes..The keychain prediction can be completely examined!

Beyond any doubt..Fair Play is the Fairest of them all!

An astonishing new gimmick for Corbuzier’s Free Will plot.

  • No Forces
  • Spectator Can Change Her Mind As Many Times As She Wants
  • All Choices Are 100% Free Choices

And Even More Fair

  • No Electronics
  • Resets In Seconds
  • Spectator Can Completely Examine The Prediction

The Fair Play gimmick is completely self-contained and self-working.

Watch Out for Ghouls and Goblins!

Halloween-14

That, my friends, is all that’s fit to print at the moment.

Have a wonderful and safe Halloween and an even better weekend,

Paul
