Happy Memorial Day 2015!

Betty and I are taking a few days off, getting an early start on enjoying this holiday weekend. We’ve left Cole and Max in charge to run the store as we take an extended weekend.

Memorial Day is a US federal holiday wherein the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces are remembered. The holiday, which is celebrated every year on the final Monday of May, was formerly known as Decoration Day and originated after the American Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died in the Civil War.

To all those who have served we are most grateful, and for those that have given the ultimate sacrifice we remember and honor with sincerest respect.

Here’s hoping you and yours have a safe and wonderful Memorial Day.

Until next time my friends,
